Katie Janness and her dog, Bowie were murdered on July 28, 2021 in Atlanta, Georgia. Katie took Bowie for a walk in Piedmont Park and never returned home. She and Bowie were found dead at the entrance to the park by Katie's partner. They had been brutally attacked.
